South and Central America Travel Guide

The South and Central American region hides traces of ancient civilizations dating back several thousand years. The hot Atacama Desert contrasts with the snowy peaks of the Andes and glaciers, while the Patagonian pampas form kilometers of uninhabited spaces. Undoubtedly a unique attraction are also the magnificent Iguazú Waterfalls and the highest waterfall of the world, Salto Angel.

In many cities you can hear Latin music, and the carnival in Rio de Janeiro, where samba prevails, is known all over the world.
