The Mercado del Progreso is a historic gastronomic market located in the heart of the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Caballito, Buenos Aires - Argentina. It is one of the few surviving markets in Buenos Aires that maintain the function since its origins more than a hundred years ago.
It is located at the intersection of Avenida Rivadavia and Del Barco Centenera, in front of the Plazoleta de Primera Junta and Primera Junta Subway Station, and one block away from Caballito Station of the Sarmiento Line.
