The fort of Cobos, whose original name is Nuestra Señora de Santa Ana, is a fortification preserved as a national historic monument located in the municipality of Campo Santo, in the vicinity of the town of Cobos in the General Güemes department of the province of Salta, Argentina. Its function was to be an outpost, surveillance and protection of the city of Salta against the attack of the natives of the Gran Chaco.
