El Solar is a shopping center located in Las Cañitas, in the capital city of Buenos Aires.
It was inaugurated in September 1995 and was built by the prestigious architectural firm Bodas-Miani-Anger by recycling the old carbon dioxide factory "Gas Carbo". This recycling earned it the Maxi Award for Innovative Design and Architecture in May 1997.
In addition to its select clothing, technology, accessories and its complete food court, El Solar offers numerous cultural, recreational and entertainment activities for the 400,000 people who visit it monthly, although other sources already spoke that in 2005, visited the center, a total of 7,800,000 people a year.
