The Fruit Port is a small wharf on the banks of the Luján River in the town of Tigre, next to which is located the fruit market. It owes its name to the fact that until the middle of the 20th century the fruit production of the Paraná Delta used to disembark there, which was then marketed in the city of Buenos Aires.
