The Museum of Geology and Paleontology of the National University of Comahue is located in the central-eastern region of the province of Neuquén, on the northern shore of Lake Los Barreales. It exhibits dinosaurs, crocodiles, fish and turtles, as well as plants from the Cretaceous period of the Mesozoic Era.
This museum is the result of paleontological research carried out in the last decade in Patagonia, being more than 90% of the exhibits original. Some of the species are set and reconstructed on a natural scale.
