Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus - a botanical garden located in Minsk and operating under the tutelage of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus, one of the older such institutions in the former USSR.
The garden was founded in 1932 by the decision of the Council of People's Commissioners of the Belarusian SSR. It is the largest botanical garden in Belarus - it covers an area of 153 ha, it boasts a large botanical collection of over 9,000. plant species.
In the years 2004-07 a conservatory was built in the garden, in which exotic plants are presented-thanks to this the garden is now open to visitors throughout the year.
