The church of Notre-Dame de Foy, located in the center of the village of Foy-Notre-Dame, six kilometers east of the city of Dinant in Belgium, is a Marian sanctuary dating from the 17th century. Built in 1623, the church is of Mosan baroque style. It has a remarkable ceiling of 145 caissons with paintings on oak wood of the Marian mysteries, saints and doctors of the Church. The church, recognized by the Royal Commission for Monuments and Sites since 1898, is classified as a heritage building of the Walloon Region.
The building, made from local materials, is a perfect example of the know-how of Belgian craftsmen of the time.
