Facts and practical information
The Antwerp Beguinage was a beguinage located in Antwerp, Belgium. It was founded in the 13th century and had up to 150 beguines by the end of the 18th century, but was desecrated following the French Revolution and then partially demolished in 1819 by the Antwerp municipality. What remained of the beguinage was then transformed into housing.
