The building known as Casa de la Libertad was the place where the Act of Independence of Upper Peru was signed in 1825. In this building the first constitution of Bolivia was written from that moment and until 1898 the Bolivian Congress met. It is located in the Plaza 25 de Mayo, in the center of the city of Sucre, capital of Bolivia.
