São Paulo Museum of Art, São Paulo

The São Paulo Museum of Art, known as MASP, is a beacon of culture and one of the most significant art institutions in Brazil. Located on São Paulo's iconic Avenida Paulista, this museum is renowned for its impressive collection of Western art, one of the finest in Latin America, and its striking modernist architecture.

Designed by the acclaimed Italian-Brazilian architect Lina Bo Bardi, MASP was inaugurated in 1968 and has since become a symbol of the city. The building is notable for its bold design, featuring a red concrete and glass structure supported by four massive pillars, creating a 74-meter free span underneath and a plaza that allows for a variety of public activities.

The museum's collection includes more than 8,000 works, spanning from the 14th to the 20th centuries, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, engravings, and decorative arts.
