The Science and Technology Park of the University of São Paulo is an interactive, open-air museum. It is part of the Fontes do Ipiranga State Park and is opposite the Botanical Garden of São Paulo and the Zoological Park of São Paulo. Its native forest area is 120 hectares.
The park offers activities open to the public, such as exhibitions and sky observation in the planetarium or in a historical lunette. The institution also promotes research and experiments in the areas of physics, meteorology, microbiology, and geophysics.
Some of its buildings date from the 1930s and 1940s. Some have been protected by Condephaat since 1994.
Every year it hosts the USP Fair and the Professions.
