Parque das Esculturas Francisco Brennand, Recife

Facts and practical information
The Francisco Brennand Sculpture Park is an open-air art museum located in the city of Recife, capital of the Brazilian state of Pernambuco. It constitutes one of the main achievements of the Pernambuco plastic artist Francisco Brennand.
Idealized in the 1990s as part of the project "I saw the world.. It began in Recife" to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the discovery of Brazil, the park was inaugurated on December 29, 2000.
In total, there are 90 sculptures created by Francisco Brennand, the main work in the complex being the Crystal Tower, 32 meters high and made of clay and bronze.
Despite being one of Recife's main tourist spots, in a survey to Jornal do Comércio done in 2018, it understood that more than half of the population does not know the park.
In the year 2014, all the works were restored, as was the park, in addition to receiving reinforcement in the security of the complex.
