Facts About Piscola
Piscola, also known as Combinado Nacional, is a cherished highball cocktail in Chile. This refreshing beverage is crafted by combining pisco, a type of brandy, with a cola drink. There are also delightful variations where you can substitute cola with ginger ale, tonic, Sprite, or other similar sodas. Depending on the mixer, you can savor a "black" or "white" piscola.
To prepare a piscola, simply fill a highball glass with ice, pour in your pisco, and top it off with your chosen soft drink. The typical ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:3, pisco to mixer. For an additional flourish, you can garnish your drink with slices of lemon or key lime.
