Lushun Prison Site, located in the northern part of Lushunkou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is now the "Lushun Japanese-Russian Prison Site Museum", a prison established by the Russian Empire and the Great Japanese Empire when they ruled Lushun, built by the Russian Empire in 1902, expanded by the Great Japanese Empire in 1907, and dismantled in 1945 after the Soviet Army entered Lushun. It was dismantled in 1945 when the Soviet army entered Lusun. In July 1971, the prison was restored and opened to the public as an exhibition hall. The State Council of the People's Republic of China announced it as the third batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
