Ancient Lotus Pond is located in Yuhua Road Street, Lianchi District, Baoding City, Hebei Province, China, next to the Zhili Governor's Office. Baoding ancient lotus pond for Baoding one of the eight scenery. July 23, 1982, included in the Hebei Province cultural relics protection units; in 2001 was listed as the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. Baoding city district of the lotus pond that is named after this.

The ancient lotus pond was built at the end of the Jin, is a private garden of marshal Zhang Ruo deputy general Qiao Weizhong in Baoding and other places, then called Xuexiang Garden. After the earthquake in Baoding in the twenty-seventh year of the Yuan Dynasty, gradually deserted, the Ming Jiajing 44 years Baoding governor Zhang Liewen reconstruction. In the Qing dynasty, the Qianlong, Jiaqing and Guangxu Dynasties had been opened as a palace and had been expanded and renovated. The ancient Lotus Pond covers an area of 24,000 square meters, of which the water surface area accounts for about one-third.

The Ming Dynasty artifacts found in 1962 were later moved to this site after the Xixia text stone block.
