San yuan li kang ying dou zheng ji nian bei, Guangzhou

The Sanyuanli Anti-British Struggle Monument, located on the upper post of the West Gate Tower of Sanyuanli Village in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, China, is a monument built to commemorate the Chinese soldiers and civilians who died in the Sanyuanli Anti-British Struggle in 1841.

The monument is a reinforced concrete structure, about 10 meters high. The front of the monument is engraved with the words "The martyrs who died in the struggle of the people of Guangdong against the British imperialist aggression in Sanyuanli in 1841 are immortalized forever!" The monument is surrounded by the Sanyuanli Anti-British Memorial Park, which covers an area of 11,265 square meters. Built in October 1950, the monument was announced as the first batch of cultural relics protection units in Guangzhou by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Committee in March 1963 and as a patriotic education base in Guangzhou in 2003.
