Facts and practical information

Dinglin Temple is located halfway up the southern part of the Seven Buddha Mountains in Mishan Town, Gaoping City, Shanxi Province, China, and was listed as the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units in 2001.

Dinglin Temple was built in an unknown date, but it existed as early as the Tang Dynasty. The temple is facing south, covering an area of about 8000 square meters, with Guanyin Pavilion, Leiyin Hall and Seven Buddha Hall on the central axis, with corridors and side yards on both sides and other buildings, of which only Leiyin Hall is the legacy of the Yuan Dynasty, the rest are Ming and Qing buildings. Leiyin Hall is three rooms wide and three rooms deep, with a single eave hillside roof.
