Basílica de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles, Cartago

The Basílica de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles stands as a beacon of faith and history in the city of Cartago, Costa Rica. The basilica hosts one of the most significant religious events in Costa Rica, the annual pilgrimage called "La Romería" on August 2nd, where over a million devotees walk to the basilica from various parts of the country to pay homage to the Virgin of the Angels.
