Facts and practical information
The MLJET National Park covers the northwestern part of the island of Mljet, which extends in an area of almost 5,300 hectares, including a protected area and sea belt 500 meters long. On November 11, 1960, this area was announced and presents the first institutionalized attempt to protect the original ecosystem in the Adriatic Sea.
