Prices for a kilo of these products range from 21.16 EGP (1.57 PLN) for a kilo of onions to 436 EGP (32.41 PLN) for a kilo of beef. The price of white rice is 35.88 EGP (2.67 PLN) per kilo, while a loaf of fresh white bread costs 29.78 EGP (2.22 PLN) per half kilo. Bananas cost 31.18 EGP (2.32 PLN) per kilo, while apples cost 79.75 EGP (5.93 PLN) per kilo.

Water, available in 1.5-liter bottles, costs 10.22 EGP (0.76 PLN).
