The Assauwe Tower is one of the medieval defense facilities in Tallinn and nowadays located at the 12th tower of Müürivahe, the courtyard - Asso Hõhe or Karelas courtyard.

Originally, the Hinki Tower, the Devil Tower and the Karja gate were in the city wall between Viru Gate and Assauwe, and the Harju Gate and the Goat Tower between Assauwe and Kiek in de Kök were uphill. Most of Assauwe's neighbors have now been destroyed, the closest preserved towers are Viru Gate and Kiek in de Kök. Part of the Hinki tower has also been preserved between the houses along the Pärnu Road.

The tower was built between 1370 and 1380. The Assauwe Tower is said to be named after Assauwe or Asso. In the 19th century it was a horse stable. Later, the Tower moved to the Tallinn Conservatoire, since 1934 the Estonian Theater and Music Museum has been operating in the Assauwe Tower and the related building.
