The Museum-Aquarium of Nancy, often abbreviated to MAN, is a heritage institution of scientific and technical culture jointly managed by the Metropolis of Greater Nancy and the University of Lorraine.
This natural history museum includes zoological and paleontological collections as well as living collections, mainly ichthyological.
The Museum-Aquarium is composed of two levels. On the first floor are three aquarium spaces, the Nautilus and Calypso galleries and the boat room. At the end of the Nautilus gallery, the Astrolabe gallery hosts temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists. The Cuénot amphitheater is also located on this level. The zoology gallery and two other temporary exhibition spaces are located on the second floor.
