Collégiale Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens, Le Dorat

The collegiate church of Saint-Pierre or Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens is an old collegiate church located in the town of Le Dorat, in the Haute-Vienne region, 12 km north of Bellac and 76 km southeast of Poitiers.

Imposing Romanesque church, it is built in grey granite. Its plan is in Latin cross. Its construction began in the 12th century. It was fortified in the 15th century, hence its massive character. It was classified as a historical monument in 1846.
