The abbey church of Saint-Riquier is a major religious building in Picardy. Together with the collegiate church of Saint-Vulfran in Abbeville and the chapel of the Holy Spirit in Rue, it is one of the most beautiful examples of flamboyant Gothic art in Picardy. As part of a larger monumental ensemble, the abbey church was classified as a historical monument in 1840.
