Facts and practical information
Château-Naillac, located in the commune of Le Blanc, is one of the last of the two castles that guarded the Creuse valley in the 12th century, the second of which has disappeared as a keep in Poitou. It is one of the rare examples of twin keeps known. These keeps without buttresses and with smooth walls, have their sides parallel. They are built on two independent and parallel axes, operating a drop. After 1714, they were connected by a low building.
