The Duchesne Tower is a 15th century tower located near the Mordelaise Gate in Rennes, in the French department of Ille-et-Vilaine in the Brittany region. It was named after Jehan du Chesne, the great doorkeeper of Rennes and the first inhabitant of the tower, who was responsible for opening and closing the city gates. Now part of the Hôtel d'Artillerie, the tower has been listed as a historical monument since March 13, 1944.
