Tours Cathedral, officially known as the Cathedral of Saint Gatien, stands as a monumental beacon of faith and history in the city of Tours, France. This Gothic architectural masterpiece, dedicated to Saint Gatien, the first bishop of Tours, has been an emblem of ecclesiastical heritage since its consecration in 1547, although its construction began in 1170 and spanned several centuries, reflecting the evolution of Gothic style.

The cathedral is renowned for its stunning façade, adorned with intricate sculptures and flamboyant Gothic details. Its twin towers, rising to 69 meters, frame the western front and are a distinctive feature of the Tours skyline. Inside, the cathedral houses an array of stained glass windows, some dating back to the 13th century, offering a kaleidoscope of colors that illuminate the nave and chapels.

One of the most remarkable features of Tours Cathedral is its collection of stained glass, which includes the spectacular 13th-century windows depicting scenes from the life of Saint Maurice and the 15th-century windows showing the life of Saint Martin.
