Lille Grand Palais is a complex located in the heart of the Lille Metropolis. Designed by the Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas with Cecil Balmond and inaugurated in 1994, it includes three complementary spaces: a Convention Center, Exhibition Halls and a Zenith Arena. To carry out his project, Rem Koolhaas called on Renz Van Luxemburg for the acoustic studies, dUCKS scéno for the scenography of the halls, Arup Group for the preliminary engineering studies and Sodeg Ingénierie for the final studies of the technical lots, in particular Gérard Catutti, HVAC engineer, and Bruno Fontana, Electrical Engineering engineer.
