The rudder of Corsica is a rock in the south of Corsica. Carved in the rock in 1880, it allows to watch the port of Bonifacio, a passage allows to access to a fire hydrant built during the inter-war period. 168 steps go down in the stone and lead to a rock which offers a view on the Bonifacio's mouths and Sardinia. It is so named because of its shape, which reminds one of a stern.
