The Cascade des Jarrauds, or Jarreaux, located in Saint-Martin-Château in the Creuse is part of the Maulde River.
The waterfall is a listed site since September 23, 1939 and an extension was made for its periphery in 1990 including the village of Saint-Martin-Château.
However, its interest is not limited to its waterfall and its environment but also to its history.
