Église Saint-Avit, Saint-Avit-Sénieur

The church of Saint-Avit-Sénieur is a religious building located in the commune of Saint-Avit-Sénieur, in the French department of Dordogne. It is classified on the list of the world heritage of Unesco in 1998, under the Ways of Santiago de Compostela in France.

The imposing dimensions of this Romanesque building are due to the pilgrimage and the fame of Saint Avit, whose relics were transferred to the building at the beginning of the 12th century.
