The fortified monastery, or tower-monastery, is a building located in France in the commune of Cannes in the Alpes-Maritimes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.
It is built from the end of the XI th century by the abbey of Lérins on the south coast of the island of Saint-Honorat in the bay of Cannes to protect the island, the monastery and its occupants.
The building has been classified as a historical monument since 1840.
