The Basilica of Our Lady of Hope of Charleville-Mézières is a Catholic basilica located in Charleville-Mézières, in the department of Ardennes. This Gothic style church, built from 1499, is illuminated by an amazing set of modern stained glass windows made between 1954 and 1979 on the cartoons of the painter René Dürrbach.
The name "Our Lady of Hope" was given to the church in the early 19th century when it received the statue of the Black Madonna previously venerated in a nearby chapel.
It has been classified as a historical monument since October 18, 1910.
