The castle of Boussac is located in Boussac in the Creuse department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Boussac is on the banks of the Petite Creuse, about 40 km northeast of Guéret.

Open to visitors, it is known for having housed two illustrious occupants: the novelist George Sand and the publisher Pierre Leroux.
