Facts and practical information
The castle of Argy is a French Pre-Renaissance castle of Louis XII style, located in the middle of Champagne berrichonne, on the territory of the town of Argy, in the department of Indre, in the region Centre-Val de Loire.
The Château d'Argy estate offers a historical and architectural view of a military site on the plain from the Middle Ages to the development of a bourgeois residence in the 19th century. The castle, the 17th century outbuildings and the 40-hectare park make up a heritage whose unity has been reconstituted since 1966 by the Club du Vieux Manoir.
The building has been classified as a historical monument since May 14, 1930.
