Facts and practical information
Located north of the mouth of the Authie Bay, on the Haut-Banc point, in the dunes, the current Berck lighthouse was built in pre-stressed concrete.
It is a cylindrical tower in concrete masonry, adjoining an L-shaped building, in a large garden.
It is located near the maritime hospital of Berck.
The previous lighthouse, built in 1836, was destroyed during the Second World War in 1944.
The new lighthouse, designed by the architect Georges Tourry, has been registered as a historical monument since December 30, 2010.
