Facts and practical information
The castle of Bois-Sire-Amé is a ruined French castle, located in the commune of Vorly, in the department of Cher, in Berry. It is described in a recent article in the Bulletin Monumental as follows: "Built at the turn of the 1400s by one of Jean de Berry's butlers, at a short distance from the great ducal construction sites of Bourges and Mehun, this castle is an extraordinary testimony to the character and ambition of an officer of the ducal court who came from a small noble family from the Berry trading community.
