Île du Grand Rouveau

The island of Grand Rouveau is part of the Embiez archipelago which includes five islands with the small Rouveau, the small Gaou, the large Gaou and the largest island of Embiez. It is located on the territory of the commune of Six-Fours-les-Plages in the Var. Property of the Conservatoire du Littoral since 2000, the island is managed by the city of Six-Fours-les-Plages with the support of the initiative of Small Islands of the Mediterranean, carried by the international delegation of the Conservatoire du Littoral. It is an ideal place for scuba diving. No regular airline serves the island. At the top of the small island, at an altitude of 31 m, stands the Grand Rouveau lighthouse.
