Facts and practical information
The church of the Madeleine of Moisy is located in the French department of Loir-et-Cher. It was classified as a historical monument on January 21, 2008, in particular for its recently renovated altarpiece. The altarpiece presents Christ the Shepherd, a representation that was quite common in the first three centuries, but rarer and more remarkable thereafter. Some parts of the priory are traced back to the 12th century, other parts are dated to the 14th and 18th centuries.
