Facts and practical information
The thermal baths of Chassenon, formerly called "thermal baths of Longeas" at Chassenon in Charente Limousine on the edge of the Via Agrippa, are among the best preserved in the Gallo-Roman world. They are part of the ancient city of Cassinomagus, within a monumental whole, a vast sanctuary composed of thermal baths, a theater and a temple. They are double baths, with hygienic and curative function built on two levels and almost 1,5 ha.
