The Gallo-Roman villa of Lassalles is located at the place called Lassalles in the French commune of Montmaurin, in the Comminges and Occitanie region.
It is one of the largest Gallo-Roman villas in Aquitaine Gaul. Its size and luxury illustrate the exceptional economic prosperity of southwestern Gaul between the 4th and 6th centuries. The farm was established during the Pax Romana, in the 1st century. Its lands covered an area of more than a thousand hectares. From the 4th century onwards, the master's residence was transformed into a palace covering 5,800 square meters. The villa was inhabited until the end of the fifth century or the beginning of the sixth.
