Facts and practical information
Built in the seventeenth century and then remodeled in the nineteenth century, the castle is now the town hall of the town of Nexon. Around the castle are a dovecote, fountains, an orangery, stables, a private chapel containing a tomb, garages, a gas-heated chapel and a retirement home. The latter testify to a prestigious equestrian past with the presence of stud farms since the 16th century, the cradle of the Anglo-Arabian breed and racehorse stables. The domain is open all year round with free access.
