The church of Notre-Dame de Vals is a semi-circular church with three levels, known for the Romanesque frescoes it contains, of great historical and artistic interest. The church is classified as a historical monument on November 19, 1910 while the stone cross outside the church is classified on March 2, 1959.
The building is located on the Pyrenean Piedmont Way, one of the most important secondary routes of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela.
