Notre-Dame de Trémalo is a Catholic chapel located in the town of Pont-Aven, in Brittany. The building was built in the sixteenth century by Guillaume du Plessis, Lord of Plessis and Catherine de Botigneau his wife, it is located in the former parish of Nizon.
In Gothic style, the chapel and its furnishings are known to have been represented by the painters in residence at Pont-Aven in the 19th and 20th centuries. The polychrome wooden sculpture of Christ on the Cross that it contains appears in several paintings by Paul Gauguin, such as The Yellow Christ and Self-Portrait with the Yellow Christ, painted in 1889.
The building has been listed as a historical monument since May 11, 1932.
