Saint-Ouen Church
Facts and practical information
The church of Saint-Ouen de Rocques is a church classified as a historical monument in 1946, located in the commune of Rocques at the crossroads of the roads Lisieux - Fauguernon and Hermival-les-Vaux - Ouilly-le-Vicomte.
Surrounded by its old cemetery on which the two arms of an ancient stone cross extend, it is solidly built on its foundations. A massive and square tower of the 13th century, surmounted by a small bell tower, covered in slate, of the 16th century, forms the forepart of the nave. During the liberation, part of the church was damaged. It was restored in 1948-49 by the care of the reconstruction and the fine arts.
