Facts and practical information
The fire of Men Brial, is a fire located in the entrance of the harbor of the Île-de-Sein. The etymology of the Breton name Mên Brial is uncertain, it could derive from the name brezhell pronounced brehell on the island of Sein. Another hypothesis is that krial means crying, perhaps the women came to cry for the dead at sea when they left the port.
It replaces a bitter, now destroyed, which was at the same location.
It is a cylindrical turret on a white painted base.
