Facts and practical information
The initial construction of the church Saint-Symphorien of Fondettes dates back to the XIIth century. The current appearance is the result of modifications made in the 13th and 15th centuries. The building is composed of a nave of three bays closed on the East by a choir and an apse and has two chapels. The last restoration of the building dates back to 1990 and, among other things, restored the four pinnacles and small sculptures on the west façade, the entire roof, the bell tower, and the rooster, which was replaced.
