The castle of Murol en Saint Amant is a fortified castle located in the Puy-de-Dôme department, 15 kilometers from Clermont-Ferrand, below the village of Saint-Amant-Tallende. Often called the castle of La Tour Fondue, it should not be confused with the old castle of Saint-Amant, located higher up, which dates from the 15th century and was the home of Queen Margot.
