Facts and practical information
The French Brewery Museum is a museum dedicated to brewing and located in Saint-Nicolas-de-Port, near Nancy. It is installed in a former industrial brewery whose 1931 building, designed by the architect Fernand César, is an example of Art Deco industrial architecture. The museum presents both brewing equipment from different periods, collections of advertising objects, and brewing demonstrations in a small facility. The museum has been continuously enriched since its opening in 1988, and a large number of temporary exhibitions are organized. A dynamic around brewing has been created, making Saint-Nicolas-de-Port an essential pole of amateur, artisanal or farm brewing in France.
